Yay..go you.  I'd wanted one for years and bought mine 6 yrs ago..lots of work and tweaking later she's running like a dream..fingers crossed.  Only just joined this club and have yet to go to a dub event, will hopefully make Vanfest, go to many small music festies though each year.  You have to don't you..it's grim up North.

grim is an understatement!!

 

it feels like theres only me up here with a T2!!! everyother owner appears to live south of the watford gap at best!!

Jeez, am beginning to wonder if this is a deadzone..nobody posts anything much.

Know what you mean about the lack of T2's.  I live in Rochdale and there's only 2 here that I know of!!!!!!  And I've got one of 'em.If I go down to Wales or Devon there are tons of them.

When I'm driving mine I get these looks from people like im an alien..well..between you and me it's not far from the truth. Also it could be the decals I have on it.  Didi consider doing it up like the van in the Mighty Boosh then had a reality check.

Was considering Vanfest but then didnt get tickets in the end.

 

So hows your van and does it have a name?  Mine's Dubstar.

Lucky you, I drool every time I see one.  Theres a splendid blue and cream one round here I keep seeing, a beautiful restoration.

hi all, we've just  bought a t25 transporter, she is 25 years old, busy restoring her, we always out and about in scarborough we live in northumberland, have plans to do some rallies and get to know other people and their vans. named our van kitty.

Hi everyone,

Ive just bought my first camper after going to the VWNW show at tatton park last weekend, shes a 1973 bay and at the mo only has seatbelts in the front, anyone know how expensive/easy it is to get seatbelts fitted in the back? Alas I have a lot of learning to do seeing as Im 21 and my vans 37.

Any advice is much appreciated!

hi, charapurple, where you from?, we too have extra seatbelt needs, might be best to open up a new thread to try source a mechanic, our van has just been re- sprayed, but we have a dreaded water leak and i dont feel confident about tackling it myself, at least not without a bit of expert advice,

However, we need to be sure that everyone knows the score. 

Please keep entries friendly.  We will remove or edit out unsavoury content, but we prefer that you avoid posting it in the first place.  Remember that people of all kinds read these pages, and the Club is supposed to be a fun place to be.  Anyone who persists in leaving foul messages will be struck off the users list, Club member or not. 

We hope you get involved with chatting here and find support with your repairs/restorations, friendship and entertainment.  Enjoy!
