Firstly as this is my first post a brief intro. My wife and I bought a 71 Crossover Dormobile at the beginning of the year. First bus and having great fun joining in this VW scene. After having the bus for most of the summer we have decided to send her away for a complete interior refit. We went for her as a trial and now as you can tell its turning in to more than that!

However before the refit we need to stop the serious amount of heat that is being generated from under the RnR bed being vented out in to the rear cabin. The heat is pretty intense and will cause a few issues with speakers we are having fitted in the RnR bed Facia. On the way back from vanfest the heat being vented melted a shoe! I can see that there is a single pipe splitting in to two vents coming our from the current facia. My question is...... can you simply block the pipe before it splits in to two or will this cause some issues ? If not then I dont know how to do this. Forgive the dumb question but I am at a loss and I am pretty sure the dash controls do absolutely nothing. We have figured an awaful lot of other things  out by trial and error, but this one has me stumped. Any info would go down a treat..... and yes I will be joining the club. Seems only fair when you use the forum
