Had my vw westfalia insured last year on an agreed policy for £14000. This year the premimium rocketed due to a change in the underwritting. Tried Gylnwood because the club advertises them. No problem just got to send the pics off for the valuation to be agreed. Pics sent, i get a phone call saying the insurance company value my camper at £12000. This was the price valued by the club in 07. Sent proof of insurance last year at £14000. No max cover £12000. Fine i said i`l get it revalued by the club. Then i was told they still cant say it will be covered for more than £12000. It depends what the insurance company says. So my point is why bother having it valued by the club if some prat looking at 6 photos has the final say!!!!! NO WONDER THERE ARE SO MANY UN INSURED DRIVERS!!!!!!

Next time try Heritage Insurence we have been with them 5 years.

Once we had to be trailered from Kent To Oxfordshire.They turned up dead on time no hassle.

I would not put too much faith in the club valuations.Its just one persons opinion.Heritage will take a garage valuation as long as they do not regularly service the van.We will be going this way next time as our van was valued at only £8.000.00 Its totally original with only one owner!!!
