Can anyone help?

Stripping the inside of my camper and i've came across old insulation between the in and outer skin. What would be the best insulation polyestyrene or fibre glass???

In answer to your question, loft insulation would be best.  The 'eco' wool would be easy to glue to the panels and flexible.

To go on though:  Do you need insulation in the sides or floor?  Very little warmth would be kept from escaping down through the floor as heat rises.  Any warmth build up inside the cabin would be lost through the windows as glass does allow heat to escape rapidly (unless you have double glazed windows).  The roof is good to insulate though as it stops the searing heat coming in during summer.

In my opinion it is best to leave your windows open slightly for ventilation anyway.  On our Bay any condensation built up on the inside of the screen soon runs down and sits by where the dash is fitted beneath the screen.  A good area for corrosion to start.

I work on aircraft and they are insulated with foil type bags of insulation which fit very close and snug to all the inside faces of external skins (panels).  If there is any air bubble because the bags have not been fitted properly condensation rapidly builds up.  Compared to a vehicle this does happen a lot quicker and more often but saying that any moisture trapped inside your vehicle will lead to corrosion.

Hope this helps.

You could try fitting a knob on the steering wheel as some find using one makes it easier to pull the steering round

A lazy mans knob.  Its just as easy to push forward on one side and pull back on the other - you know like you do for your driving test! ;-)  Anyway, what I was going to say is that our friends had one fitted and it just caused major cracking to their wheel, I guess from all the force being put on one side.  So if you use a knob make sure you have a good solid wheel to start.

On the question of condensation, as a previous boat owner, we used the plastic containers with crystals that absorb moisture.  Used to get them from Woollies, but alas now looking for another supplier.  We take delivery of a 1972 Bay on Tuesday, and will use this methid of preventing moisture an mould building up over winter.
